It is a lovely charming traditional pub with a great welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious 😋, We both had the leak and potato soup and crusty roll for starters, and the steak pie for main. It was a hard choice, as so many to choose from. There was plenty of veg, cooked to perfection, and the chips were the best I've had in a long time. Large portions, so unfortunately we didn't have room for pudding, which, again, there were excellent choices available . It is also very dog friendly but has a separate room that dogs aren't allowed. We will certainly be back to sample the many offerings on the menu. It is essential you book so as not to be disappointed.

We chose this pub because of the good reviews but it was very disappointing, the main course was very poor so we didn't stay for desert and went somewhere else. The salad didn't look fresh and the steak looked and tasted like it had been pre cooked and warmed up. The kids pizzas were just them little frozen chicago town pizzas you get in packs of 2 from the supermarket.

The Three Jolly Sailors in Scarborough is a gem of a pub! I had the lasagne, and it was hands down the best pub food lasagne I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion was generous, and it came with delicious sides that made the meal even more satisfying.

Went here for lunch today, after 5 mile walk around area. I had pensioners roast beef better half had chicken curry. Both meals were delicious and excellent so hot as well. Would highly recommend and we will go again before we return back to Suffolk.

Went today for a New Years Day meal the food was amazing home cooked. Staff very friendly the atmosphere was so cosy shame it's not on our door step as we live in Doncaster. Will most definitely visit again nice that it's dog friendly as well especially having a 54kg rottweiler.

Went here again yesterday for a nye meal and again it was superb.
I had the braised steak and onions and the meat was so well cooked and flavoursome it fell apart. ( 2 really good sized pieces of meat with onions and the best gravy. Hubby had scampi which was also very nice
This little gem is an amazing place for food. My only gripe, if any was that we were in a corner which was a little dark, i would have preferred a little more light.
Also we were by a very hot radiator but we asked for it to be turned down and almost immediately a very pleasant lady came along and turned it off as it was very warm. The atmosphere was lovely both times weve been and the staff friendly and helpful.
Thankyou for a nice new years eve and I would definitely recommend a visit here if you're in the area !

We went here for my birthday meal whilst staying in Scarborough. We certainly weren't disappointed. The food was superb. I had the steak pie which was mouth wateringly gorgeous and my hubby had the 3 bean chilli which he said was the best he'd had. We were seated very near to the open fire which was great as we had a storm going on outside. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

Needed food and we came across the Three Jolly Sailors. Plenty of parking, lovely staff and great food. Dog friendly- darts board - fireplace. Christmas decorations and roast - on a Friday - visit - you won’t be disappointed
